Our workplace is rapidly changing. Demographic shifts have now resulted in the presence of 5 generations in the workforce. With globalisation and movement of people across borders, we have greater workplace diversity. We may deal with colleagues and business partners who are from different countries, have different language skills and come from diverse cultural backgrounds. When we are able to appreciate others for who they are and embrace the diversity around us, we can leverage the collective range of talents and capabilities to become a stronger workforce.
