The WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (ACWSH) qualification is designed for individuals, such as yourself, who are keen to join the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) profession as a WSH Coordinator. This course is a recognised qualification for registration as a WSH Coordinator under the WSH Act.

 

Course Objectives

 

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Measure, Monitor & Report WSH Performance

  • Facilitate Effective Communication at the Workplace

 

Pre-requisites

 

Learners are assumed to have:

  • ES WPLN Level 5 OR GCE ‘N’ Level English Grade 5 and Mathematics Grade 5; AND
  • Possess WSH Skills and knowledge equivalent to that of Certificate in WSH; AND
  • Have at least 1 year of WSH relevant working experience AND
  • Completed 2 Pre Requisite Modules, with 1 module from Group 1 (Industry Modules) and 1 module from Group 2 (Soft Skills)

Group 1 Pre-Requisite modules (Do any one only)

  • Supervise Construction Work for WSH (SCWSH)
  • Supervise Marine Work for WSH (SSC)
  • Supervise Manufacturing Work for WSH (SMFWSH)
  • Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant (SWPP)

Group 2 Pre-Requisite module

  • Problem Identification L3 (WSHPI3)

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

 

Upon meeting attendance requirements and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive an e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
