Course Overview
The Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Course will equip participants with knowledge and skills in resuscitating collapsed victims. It is a very comprehensive course encompassing critical life-saving skills, ranging from the rescuing of a choked victim (conscious and unconscious), to performing quality CPR, for both adults and infants according to the guidelines provided by the National Resuscitation Council (NRC), Singapore.

- Adult one-man CPR
- Relief of foreign body airway obstruction in an adult-conscious and unconscious situation
- Infant CPR
- Relief of foreign body airway obstruction in an infant-conscious and unconscious situation
Mode of Assessment
Theory Assessment ( MCQ )
- 20 questions
- Passing mark 80%
- 20 minutes to complete
Practical Assessment
- Adult One Man CPR
- Adult Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
- Infant CPR
- Infant Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
Trainees not meeting practical assessment requirements will be deemed to fail the whole course
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
- Upon passing the assessments, participants will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion with an expiry date.
- A safety pass will also be given for successful candidates.
This course is accredited by National Resuscitation Council (NRC)
