This unit covers the knowledge and techniques required to evaluate risks due to ergonomics at the workplace. It will include the evaluation of how concepts in ergonomics are applied in three main areas (Human-Body-Centred, Information-Centred and Organisation-Centred) at workplaces.

The target audience of this competency unit may include:
- Occupational Hygiene (OH) professionals such as OH technicians, officers and occupational hygienists, ergonomics practitioners, occupational health nurses who want to learn about evaluation of ergonomics risk at the workplace.
Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) professionals, such as WSH Coordinators, Officers, and Auditors who want to learn about evaluation of ergonomics risk at the workplace.

- Conduct ergonomic survey and evaluation to collect data on ergonomic factors
- Analyse data
- Verify evaluation results and assess ergonomics risks in accordance with the organisational risk management process
- Control measures of ergonomics-related hazards
- Measure the impact of ergonomics with the use of performance indicators
