Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the types and importance of food waste disposal and reduction in accordance to organisation SOPs
- Identify types of equipment to process food waste
- Recognise the usage of equipment and signs of fault
- Explain importance of disposal procedures in accordance to prevent food contamination
- Examine possible causes for food spoilage or wastage and apply preventive measures against cross contamination
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- Read, write, and speak the Chinese language
- Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3

LU3: Cause and solution related to other types of impact on food spoilage and waste
- Appraise reasons for food spoilage and disposal
