Pre-requisites

 

  • Be able to listen and speak in English at ESS level 6
  • Be able to read and write in English at ESS level 6
  • Manipulate numbers at ESS level 5
  • Have at least 1 year of working experience in the security industry emplaced as a Senior Security Officer (SSO)
  • Apply basic computer application knowledge
  • Act in a professional manner
  • Observe confidentiality

Prepare for operations through effective deployment of access control equipment

  • Characteristics of Access Control Equipment
  • Deploy access control equipment
  • SOP for access control equipment
  • Briefings and orientation
  • Pre-operations checks

Monitor operations and respond to irregularities appropriately

  • Respond to reports
  • Conduct routine checks
  • Report faults

Manage maintenance and access control equipment including relevant records

  • Understand the manufacturers specifications
  • Identify, prepare and maintain records
  • Maintain relevant records
  • Recommend improvements

 

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

 

Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as SEC-TEM-3001-1.1 Access Control Management.
