The WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (SDWSH) qualification is designed for individuals, such as yourself, who are keen to join the Workplace Safety and Health profession as WSH Officers. It is a recognised qualification for registration as a WSH Officer under the WSH Act.

  • Lead Workplace Communications

Pre-requisites

Track 1

  • Technology/Science/Engineering diploma/degree from Local Universities or Polytechnics Foreign qualifications to be considered with reference to PEB Notification
  • 2 years of WSH relevant working experience
  • Completed 3 Pre Requisite, with 1 module from Industry & 1 module from Soft Skills

Track 2

  • WPLN6/‘O’ Level English C6 & WPLN6/‘O’ Level Maths C6 & ‘O’ Level Physics C6/Physics bridging course
  • Possess WSH skills and knowledge equivalent to Level B
  • 2 yrs of post-Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) working experience
  • Completed 3 Pre Requisite, with 1 module from Industry & 1 module from Soft Skills

Track 3

  • WPLN6/‘O’ Level English Grade C6 & WPLN 6/‘O’ Level Maths C6 & ‘O’ Level Physics C6/Physics bridging course
  • Possess WSH skills and knowledge equivalent to Level B
  • 5 yrs of WSH working experience with 2 yrs of which should be recent working experience
  • Completed 3 Pre Requisite, with 1 module from Industry & 1 module from Soft Skills

Group 1 Pre-Requisite modules (Do both)

  • Manage WSH in Construction Industry (MWSHCI2)
  • Manage WSH in Manufacturing Industry (MWSHMI2)

Group 2 Pre-Requisite module

  • Problem Identification L4 (WSHPI4)
  • Hardware & Software
    This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform. Participants must own a zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. This can be downloaded from https://zoom.us/download
System Requirement
Must Have:

Please ensure that your computer or laptop meets the following requirements.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or MacOS (64 bit or above)
  • Processor/CPU: 1.8 GHz, 2-core Intel Core i3 or higher
  • Minimum 20 GB hard disk space.
  • Minimum 8 Gb RAM
  • Webcam (The camera must be turned on for the duration of the class)
  • Microphone
  • Internet Connection: Wired or Wireless broadband
  • Latest version of Zoom software to be installed on computer or laptop prior to the class.

Good to Have:

  • Wired internet connection
    Wired internet will provide you with stable and reliable connection.
  • Dual monitors
    Using a dual monitor setup will undoubtedly improve your training experience, enabling you to simultaneously participate in hands-on exercises and maintain engagement with your instructor.

Not Recommended:

Using tablets is not recommended due to their smaller screen size, which could cause eye strain and discomfort over the course of the program's duration.
