Course Overview
The Design Sprint methodology can be used to solve all kinds of challenges. Best known for injecting speed and innovation into product development, the methodology can also be used to develop new processes, create or update a brand, or even define the vision for an organization. The program will help learners establish the design sprint framework to proliferate design thinking across the organisation, with a special focus on solving critical business questions.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
1. Create a shared knowledge base
2. Define context and the desired outcomes
3. Generate ideas by looking in alternative spaces
4. Create a prototype of the concept
5. Gather feedback and conduct feasibility reviews
Pre-requisites
This workshop is suitable for supervisory and managerial staff that have prior knowledge of Design Thinking or have attended the Leading Design Thinking module.

- Understanding how Lightning Talk Method is used, and Creating a Shared Knowledge Base
- Defining Success Metrics, Goals and Brand Persona
- Generating Ideas and Solutions in Alternative Spaces
- Finalising Concepts through Decision Making Exercises
- Creating Prototypes based on Concepts
- Validating Prototypes through Usability Testing
