The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Childhood and Early Years Studies (Top-up) programme consists of 11 modules and may be completed within 18 months in Singapore with 100% assignment based assessment. Each unit is supported with 33-41 contact hours and lessons are conducted on weekday evenings and weekend.
The programme adopts an interdisciplinary approach which draws upon literature and research from a number of disciplines including sociology, psychology, cultural and media studies, literature, history and education. Students are encouraged to draw from personal experience during their studies and engage with contemporary issues, critically reflecting upon these in the light of the current socio-political context and the emergent and prevailing paradigms of the day.
