Course Overview
The Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification validates your knowledge for information systems auditing, assurance, control, security, cybersecurity, and governance.
Offered by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the credential is designed for IT and IS auditors tasked with evaluating an organization’s information systems to identify issues and potential security threats. This globally recognized certification is one of the few certifications specifically designed for IT auditors. According to the ISACA, the certification is also beneficial for compliance analysts, program managers, risk analysts, data protection managers, security officers, and IT consultants.

Pre-requisites
Below are the certification requirements, if you are taking the course just for knowledge it is not mandatory to possess the below requirements:
- 5-years of professional information systems auditing, control or security work.
- Waivers of up to 3 years can apply with appropriate university experience and training.
- Recommended for Students or early career candidates: ITCA
- Experience in information security management is mandatory
- Minimum of five years of information security work experience, with a minimum of three years of information security management work experience in three or more of the job practice areas
- Experience in general information security optional
- At least a graduate degree qualification, with or without a major (honours)
- Appropriate managerial skills with knowledge of relevant tools and techniques
- Proficiency in the English language equivalent to the GCE O Level is expected

- This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.

- Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with a digital Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
