Pre-requisites

 

Learners must have:

  • ES WPLN Level 4 OR Completed Secondary 2 education; AND
  • Preferably hold a WSH-related appointment AND
  • Has completed 1 Pre-Requisite Module (Problem Identification L2)

 

Course Outline

 

Module 1. Problem Identification L2 [Pre-requisite module]

  1. Sources from which symptoms of potential problems may be identified
  2. Possible sources of problem
  3. Ways to identify impact of a problem on one’s job responsibilities and other parties involved
  4. Procedure for evaluating selected ideas for problem-solving
  5. Factors to consider in selecting suitable modes of communication
  6. Methods to determine the strengths and limitations or constraints of each selected idea
  7. Areas of impact from implementation of an action plan
  8. Types of corrective actions
  9. Reflective mechanisms for the entire problem solving process

 

Module 2. Identify WSH Hazards and Maintain Risk Control Measures

Module 3. Check and Report Outcome of WSH Inspection

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

 

Upon meeting attendance requirements and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive an e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
