Course Overview

Under the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) 2006 Act, all persons who perform metal scaffold erection in the building and construction industry must take the metal scaffold erector course and be certified to ensure safety on the job

 

Who Should Attend

Workers who are required to erect and dismantle metal scaffolds

Course Duration

38 hours, inclusive 7 hours practical assessment and 1 hour written assessment

  • Introduction to Metal Scaffolding
  • Introduction to Ties and Braces
  • Introduction to Static and Mobile Towers
  • Erection and Dismantling of Scaffolds

 

Mode of Assessment

There will be practical assessment and written assessment

Certification Obtained and Conferred by

Upon completion of the course, a safety pass and certificate of Successful Completion endorsed by NTUC LearningHub will be issued to all participants.
