Course Overview

 

This is a recertification for those who work in the manufacturing industry and are required to renew their Metalworking Safety Orientation Course (MSOC) safety pass.

 

Course Objectives

 

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Renew your Metalworking Safety Orientation Course (MSOC) safety pass, with an extension of 2 or 4 years depending on your experience

 

Pre-requisites

 

You must possess a Metalworking Safety Orientation Course (MSOC) / Apply WSH in Metal Work (AWMW) safety pass before, to be eligible to attend the MSOC recertification assessment.

 

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

 

Upon and passing of the exam, you will receive a safety pass which is valid for a period of 2 or 4 years, depending on the years of your working experience in the related industry in Singapore.

Note: If you have less than 6 years of working experience in Singapore, you will get a safety pass that is valid for 2 years. Those with more than 6 years of working experience in Singapore will get a safety pass that is valid for 4 years.

Should you fail the re-certification exam, you will be required to attend the Apply Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) in Metal Work (AWMW) course and pass the assessment to renew your existing MSOC pass. Please click here for course details.
