Learners will understand the importance of Sustainable Procurement, study the environmental impact of their supply chain activities. Relevant standards/ guidelines to be discussed, include Sustainable Procurement (ISO20400), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Carbon Footprint (ISO 14067), Water Efficiency (ISO 46001), and Energy Management (ISO 50001).
Learners will investigate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) challenges in the supply chain and evaluate various options to measure and mitigate ESG risks. Learners will learn how to measure carbon emissions in supply chain, and implement procurement Practises (GRI204) and Supplier Social & Environment Assessments as part of Sustainable Reporting.

- Learners are assumed to able to speak, listen, write and read English proficiently.
- Communicate information effectively and work in a team.
- Understand and apply factual and procedural knowledge.
- Apply basic cognitive and technical skills to carry out defined tasks and solve routine problems using simple procedures and tools.
- Use limited discretion in resolving issues or enquiries
