This course introduces students to key concepts and theories in Human Resource Management (HRM). Students will develop a good understanding of how HRM links with business strategy. Topics include Job Analysis, Recruitment, Career Management, Performance Evaluation, and Collective Bargaining.

 

On successful completion of this course, students are able to:
1. Demonstrate the ability to plan and analyse job requirements
2. Explain key procedures in recruitment and selection
3. Analyse the importance of training and development
4. Review and evaluate employee performance and reward systems
